We need to prove the points (3,-2),(5,2) and(8,8) are collinear.

A=(3,-2) B=(5,2) C=(8,8)

Let The points B divides AC in the ratio of Y+1 Then the coordinates will be, (8Y+2/Y+1,8Y+5/Y+1) Coordinates of B are (4,6) Comparing we get, 8Y+2/Y+1=4 and 8Y+5/Y+1=6 8Y+2=4Y+4 and 8Y+5=6Y+6 4Y=2 and 2Y=1 Y=2/4 and Y=1/2 Y=1/2 and Y=1/2 Value of Y is same in both x and y directions.Therefore Points A,B,C are collinears.
