1. Represent sqrt(n-1) on the line. Let OA represent this segment.
2. Draw AB of unit length perpendicular to OA.
3. With radius OB, draw an arc that intersects the number line at C. Then OC represents sqrt(n).
Using these steps you can easily represent all these numbers on the number line.
