How to calculate mass of 3 moles of NH3?
Asked by stutagra | 9th Jun, 2016, 03:27: PM
Mass of 1 mole of ammonia is molar mass of ammonia
Molar mass of ammonia = (atomic mass of N) + 3(atomic mass of H)
= 14 + (3×1)
Mass of 1 mole of ammonia is 17 g.
Hence, mass of 3 moles of ammonia = 3 × 17
= 51 g
