Modern form of currency is paper notes, credit cards etc. In ancient period, barter system was used for buying and selling goods. This made trade difficult. In the medieval period, coins of gold and silver began to be used. In modern times, money made out of paper has begun to be used which further facilitated the economy. Today, credit and debit cards and wallet money have begun to be used. People now do not need to carry money and it take only seconds to make transactions. One does not need to line up outside banks or ATM machines to withdraw cash. This has made our life easier.
