Hi Nila,
It is discovered that there is an electric discharge between the clouds that produce spark and the electric spark between the clouds and the earth.
During thunderstorm, when a charged cloud passes over an uncharged cloud, then the uncharged cloud acquires an opposite charge by induction.
Similarly, when two clouds with opposite charges are close to each other, they attract each other and combine to produce a large amount of heat, light and sound.
The spark that is produced is called lightning and the effect of this lightning is very dangerous. It can cause fire and shatter the buildings.
