if an object-A travels with velocity towards west with speed u and another object-B travels towards east with speed v,
relativistic equation of relative velocity of object-B with respect to object-A is given by begin mathsize 12px style fraction numerator u plus v over denominator 1 plus begin display style fraction numerator u space v over denominator c squared end fraction end style end fraction end style 
If we apply above formula, particles speed as measured by observer on space ship = begin mathsize 12px style fraction numerator 0.6 c space plus space 0.6 c over denominator 1 plus begin display style fraction numerator 0.36 space c squared over denominator c squared end fraction end style end fraction space almost equal to space 0.88 c end style
Hence the answer is (C) greater than 0.6c but less than c
