Hello sir,

Please explain this sum,

Let R be the relation defined on the set N of natural numbers as, R={ (x,y),x divides y: x,y € N}.

Then the values are?

The relation R is defined on the set N of natural numbers as R={(x,y): x divides y}.
Now, is we take y as 1. Then only 1 divides 1.
For y as 2, 1 and 2 divides 2.
For y as 3, 1 and 3 divides 3
For y as 4, 1, 2 and 4 divides 4.
Following the same pattern, we get
R = {(1, 1), (1, 2), (2, 2), (1, 3), (3, 3), (1, 4), (2, 4), (4, 4), .....}
