Find the values of a and b if x=-3 and x=2/3 are roots of the equation ax^2 +7x +b=0

Given that α = -3 and β = 2/3
α + β = -7/a
→ -3 + 2/3 = -7/a
→ (-9 + 2)/3 =-7/a
→ a = 3
αβ = b/a
→ -3 × 2/3 = b/3
→ b = -6
