Find the resistance between the points : 1) A and B  2) A and C

(1) Resistance between A and B :-
Resistors near the point C and D can be ignored as shown in fig.1(a).
Then we get a parallel combination of 10Ω and 30Ω resistors in between two 10Ω resistos as shown in fig.1(b). 
Equivalent resistance of parallel combination of 10Ω and 30Ω is 7.5 Ω .
 
Hence as shown in fig.1(c), resistance between A and B is 27.5 Ω.
 
(2) resistance between A and C
Resistors near point B and D are ignored as shown in fig.2(a). 
After removing these unwanted resistors, circuit is redrawn as shown in fig.2(b).
we see that in between two 10Ω resistors,  we have two 10Ω resistors connected in series is parallel with
similar two 10Ω resistors connected in series. Equivalent resistance of parallel combination can be obtained as 10Ω.
 
Hence as shown in fig.2(c), resistance between A and C is 30Ω
