Energy is conserved i,e, it can neither be created nor can be destroyed. However, according to Einstein's theory, E=mc2 i,e, energy and mass are interconvertible. Explain.

Hi Anamika,
The statement of energy conservation provided by you is incomplete.
Energy can neither be created nor destroyed. It can only be converted from one form to another.
Now, according to Einstein's mass-energy equivalence energy and mass are inter convertible which perfectly is in limits of the conservation law.
