Divide 29 in to two parts so that the sums of the squares of the  parts is 425

Let one part be x.
Then, other part will be (29 - x)
Now, x2 + (29 - x)2 = 425
i.e. x2 + 841 - 58x + x2 = 425
i.e.  2x2 - 58x + 416 = 0
i.e.  x2 - 29x + 208 = 0
Now, solve this quadratic equation to get the value of x.
