Sustainable developement refers to the process of economic developement where the resources are used judiciously to satisfy not only the need of present generation but also to conserve the resources for the use of future generation. Sustainable development takes place without depletion of present resource. Two principles of sustainable development are:
- to carefully utilise all resources
- to minimise the depletion of natural resources
