ICSE Class 7 Answered
Cooking gas is which kind of fuel?

Cooking gas can be liquified petroleum gas (LPG) , piped natural gas (PNG) or even a gobar gas.
These fuels are widely used for achieving the required combustion of fire flame while cooking food.
In LPG, the gas is stored in liquid form under pressure in a steel container, cylinder or tank.
The pressure inside the container will depend on the type of LPG and the outside temperature.
LPG is supplied in liquid form just as the name suggests in cylinders whereas in PNG, it is supplied through a pipeline.
Gobar gas is in the form of a gas.
