These are the following steps to construct the required triangle:
- Draw a segment 6.5 cm long and let that be the base of triangle ABC.
- Place the protractor at B, mark the measure of the angle as 70.
- Place the protractor at C, mark the measure of the angle as 70.
- Using a compass, mark an arc from B and C from the 70 degree mark.
- You will now get a point of intersection, let that be point A of the triangle ABC.
- Draw side BA , from B to point of intersection A.
- Draw side CA, from C to point of intersection A.
- This is how you get triangle ABC as per the required geometry.
