The answer is d, i.e the diametre of the circle is 24m.
Solution: Drop a perpendicular from point P and Q on SR. Let these points be T and U.
Now Consider PST and
QUR
PTS =
QUR
PS = QR = 25 cm
PT = QU (perpendicular distance between a pair of parallel lines)
PST
QUR
ST = UR (by cpct)
ST + UR + TU = 32
2ST + TU = 32 [since ST =RU and TU = PQ]
ST = 7
In PST, using pythagoras theorem
PS2 = PT2 + ST2
PT2 = 625 - 49 = 576
PT = 24 cm
Diametre = PT = 24 cm
