Expert Answer
Electrostatic repulsive force between two protons that are at a distance r apart is given by,
......................(1)
e is charge on each proton and ε0 is permitivity of free space
weight w = mpg ..............................(2)
where mp is mass of proton and g is acceleration due to gravity
if electrostatic force equals weight, then ............................(3)
values of constants can be substituted in eqn.(3) and the diostance r can be calculated
