Expert Answer
Units for distance is missing. I assume the distance 3.2×103 m. If units are different, use the appropriate multiplication factor for answer.
Force = (2e)(2e)/{ 4πε0×d2 }, where e is fundmental charge and d is the distance between the alpha particles.
Force = (4×1.602×1.602×10-38)×8.99×109 /(3.2×3.2×106) = 9×10-35 N
