Attacks of Afghans and Turks was an inportant event in the history of India. It is because these invasions exposed the weakness and rivalries among the kingdoms that existed in the Northern India. It further established the fact that India could be easily attacked and subdued. This paved the way for the further conquest of the country by other foreign invaders. The Turkish and the Afghan invasion drained away the wealth and riches of the country. It was with the help of these riches that the magnificent cities in Afghanistan and middle east were built.
