Area of ΔABC = 1/2 × AD × BC
48=1/2 × 8 × BC
→BC = 12 cm
In ΔABD, D = 900
By pythagoras theorom, we get
→AB2 = 82 + 62    (BD = 6cm .... Altitude of a triangle divides the base into two equal parts)
AB2 = 100
→AB = 10 cm

ΔABC is an isosceles triangle.
→AB = AC = 10 cm
Perimeter of a ΔABC = AB + BC + AC = 10 + 12 + 10 = 32 cm.
