A two digit positive number is such that the product of its digit is 6. If 9 is added to the number, the digits interchange their places. Find the number.

Let the digit be 10x+y
xy = 6...... (1)
10x+y+9 = 10y+x .......(2)
solve eqn (1) and (2) simultaneously
we get x = 2 and y =3
Therefore, the number is 23
