A light and heavy object have the same momentum, find out the ratio of their kinetic energies. Which one has larger kinetic energy?

Given that,

Linear momentum of the heavy object (p1) = Linear momentum of the lighter object (p2)

mv1 = Mv2

From this, we can conclude that v> v2 since M > m.

Now the, ratio of kinetic energy of both object will be:

Hence, the Kinetic energy of lighter objects will be greater than the Kinetic energy of heavier objects.
