Given that,
Linear momentum of the heavy object (p1) = Linear momentum of the lighter object (p2)
mv1 = Mv2
From this, we can conclude that v1 > v2 since M > m.
Now the, ratio of kinetic energy of both object will be:
Hence, the Kinetic energy of lighter objects will be greater than the Kinetic energy of heavier objects.
