Expert Answer
Amount given as loan to A = Rs.2500
Simple interest for 4 years at rate of interest 7% = 2500×4×(7/100) = Rs.700
Interest received from B = Rs. (1120 - 700) = Rs.420
if Rs. P is the amount given as loan to B, then P×4×(7/100) = 420 or P = (420×100)/(4×7) = Rs. 1500
Hence loan given to B = Rs.1500
