Distance travelled = speed × time
Distance travelled with speed 30 km/hr = 30 km/hr × (30/60) hr = 15 km
( since speed is given in km/hr , then time should be in hour )
Distance travelled with speed 40 km/hr = 40 km/hr × 1 hr = 40 km
Total distance travelled = ( 15 + 40 ) = 55 km
