a car is moving with the acceleration 2m/s from rest find the distance traveled by the car in 10th second

Distance travelled in 10th second means , distance travelled from t=10 s to t=11 s
velocity at t = 10 s is determined from equation of motion " v = u + a t " , where u initial velocity ,
v is velocity after t seconds and a is acceleration
Since car starts from rest , u = 0
Hence velocity at t = 10 s is given as
v = 2 × 10 = 20 m/s
Distance travelled in 10th second = u t + (1/2) a t2 = ( 20 × 1 ) + [ (1/2) × 2 × 12 ] = 21 m
