A candle is placed at 10 cm from a convex mirror with focal length of 10 cm. Find the location of the image.
Kindly explain it ASAP.

mirror formula :- (1/v) + (1/u) = (1/f) ..................(1)
v is mirror-to-image distance, u is mirror-to-object distance and f is focal length
as per sign convention, u = -10 and f = +10 (convex mirror)
By substituting values in eqn.(1), (1/v) = (1/10) + (1/10) = 1/5 or v = 5 cm
since v is +ve, virtual image will be formed at 5 cm behind the convex mirror
