Let m be mass and v is velocity
Momentum p = mass × velocity = ( m v )
Kinetic energy K = (1/2 ) m v2
Kinetic energy can be written in terms of momentum as explained below
if mass m = 25 gram and momentum is p = 0.4 kg m/s , then kinetic energy is
Kinetic energy K = 3.2 J
