straight n left parenthesis straight a union straight b right parenthesis greater or equal than straight n left parenthesis straight a right parenthesis space and space straight n left parenthesis straight a union straight b right parenthesis greater or equal than straight n left parenthesis straight b right parenthesis space rightwards double arrow space straight n left parenthesis straight a union straight b right parenthesis greater or equal than 6
straight n left parenthesis straight a union straight b right parenthesis less or equal than straight n left parenthesis straight a right parenthesis plus straight n left parenthesis straight b right parenthesis space space rightwards double arrow space straight n left parenthesis straight a union straight b right parenthesis less or equal than 9
Hence comma space the space minimum space value space of space straight n left parenthesis straight a union straight b right parenthesis space is space 6 space and space its space maximum space value space is space 9
