HOW SPACESHIPS GENERATE THRUST IN SPACE WHEN THEIR IS VACCUM?

Expert Answer
Spaceships have massive engines which burn fuel and emit a large amount of gas at a very high speed.
This emission is in a particular direction. Then Newton's third law takes over and the space ship gets a push in the opposite direction.
So, the push is the thing that propels the ship be it vacuum or any other medium.
Infact, in vacuum there is no gravity and the spaceship is able to move faster.
