To deal with such questions, we first take the LCM of the denominator and simplify it.
 
fraction numerator left parenthesis negative 8 right parenthesis over denominator 19 end fraction plus fraction numerator left parenthesis negative 2 right parenthesis over denominator 57 end fraction
Here the LCM of 19 and 57 is 57.
 
So the fraction becomes
 
fraction numerator left parenthesis negative 8 right parenthesis over denominator 19 end fraction plus fraction numerator left parenthesis negative 2 right parenthesis over denominator 57 end fraction fraction numerator negative 24 minus 2 over denominator 57 end fraction fraction numerator negative 26 over denominator 57 end fraction
