6. In an examination for each correct answer 5 marks is awareded and for each wrong   answer (-2) is awarde(ii) Jaya answered all the questions. But she could answer only 5 questions correctly and obtained (-6). How many questions were answered incorrectly by them.d.

Let the number of questions answered incorrectly = A

Then, 5(5) + (-2)(A) = -6

25 - 2A = -6

2A = 31

A = 15.5

A has to be whole number as number of questions cannot be in fraction form.
