In order to arrange these fractions in ascending order, we need to make these fractions as like fractions.
To make them like fractions, we need to find the lcm of the denominators.
28 = 7 x 4
24 = 6 x 4
LCM(24, 28) = 4 x 6 x 7 = 4 x 42 = 168
LCM(6, 24, 28) = 168
![negative 5 over 6 equals negative fraction numerator 5 cross times 4 cross times 7 over denominator 6 cross times 4 cross times 7 end fraction equals negative 140 over 168
minus 7 over 6 equals negative fraction numerator 7 cross times 4 cross times 7 over denominator 6 cross times 4 cross times 7 end fraction equals negative 196 over 168
minus 13 over 28 equals negative fraction numerator 13 cross times 6 over denominator 26 cross times 6 end fraction equals negative 78 over 168
fraction numerator 23 over denominator negative 24 end fraction equals negative fraction numerator 23 cross times 7 over denominator 24 cross times 7 end fraction equals negative 161 over 168
Since comma space minus 78 greater than negative 140 greater than negative 161 greater than negative 196
rightwards double arrow space minus 78 over 168 greater than negative 140 over 168 greater than negative 161 over 168 greater than negative 196 over 168](https://images.topperlearning.com/topper/tinymce/cache/296e09cc6dc8ca6a400eed34e6be463c.png)
