The angle of reflection is 30º
Let the angle between mirror and incident ray be Θ
We know,
i = r
Thus angle of incidence is 30º
Thus,
Θ = 90º - 30º = 60º
Thus,
Angle equal to 40º minus the angle between the mirror and incident ray is 40 - 60 = 20º
2. If the object is placed between focus and centre of curvature then the image will be formed beyond Centre of curvature and it will be real, inverted and magnified.
