HF,HCl,HBr,HI- order of increasing acidic strength?what is the reason behind it? F2,Cl2,Br2,I2- increasing BDE?

The size of ha;ogen atom is the reason behind this fact. Acidity refers to donation of H ion. As the size of halogen atom increases (F<Cl<Br<I) the bond strength of H-X bond decreases. So, removal of H ion becomes easy. Therefore, the acidity increases from HF to HI.
