A:

begin mathsize 16px style For space example comma
straight f left parenthesis straight x right parenthesis equals sin space straight x space
Which space is space continuous space funcion.
Hence comma space if space we space take space interval space left square bracket 0 comma 2 straight pi right square bracket.
Here space we space can space see space that space sin space 0 space equals space 0 space Also space sin space 2 straight pi space equals 0
And space there space is space at space least space one space maxima space and space at space least space one space minima space on space this space interval.
maxima space at space straight pi over 2 space and space minima space at space fraction numerator 3 straight pi over denominator 2 end fraction.
sin straight pi over 2 equals 1 space and space sin fraction numerator 3 straight pi over denominator 2 end fraction equals negative 1. end style
