Substitution Method
Substitution method for linear equation in two variables reduces a linear equation to one variable that can be solved easily to get the value of the variable. The other variable can be calculated using the value of variable obtained.
In Substitution method, the value of one variable in terms of another variable should be used to solve the equation.Elimination Method
For system of linear equations in two variables we eliminate one variable first to get a linear equation in one variable and then use substitution method to get the value of other variable.
