What is the difference between resistance and resistivity?

Resistance is the property of material by virtue of which it opposes the flow of current through it.
R = V/ I
Resistivity, also known as specific resistance is defined as the resistance offered by 1 m length of the conductor having an area of cross-section of 1 square metre. Its units is ohm-metre.
Resistivity = Ra/l
