The perimeter of a rhombus is 52m its longer diagonal is 24m then the other diagonal is?

the perimeterof Rhombus = 52 mts

 the side of the rhombus  == 52 / 4  = 13 mts ( since all the sides are equal in rhombus)

 the longest diagonal = 24  mts

 the  2 diagonals  bisect each other ... so half the distance = 24/ 2 = 12

 using the pythagoras theorem ,  hypoteneus == 13 , one leg = 12  .  ===> the other leg will be equal  == 5

 half of the smaller diagonal == 5

 the full length of the  smaller diagonal == 2 X 5   == 10 mts

                                                          The   length of smaller diagonal == 10 mts
