A drop of solution 'X' is placed on a strip of pH paper. A deep red colour is produced. The solution is a. NaOH b. HCl c. Water d. Na2CO3 Also reason out why?

HCl is acid it will turn pH paper red; NaOH will turn it blue; Water is neutral, it will not cause any color change. Na2CO3 is slight basic.
