why does the position of cenral maxima not depend on wavelength and name the factors which determine the central maxima (for diffraction)

For position of central maximum, diffraction angle θ = 0 . 
Hence wavelength is not a depending parameter for position of central maximum.
 
Width of central maximum = region of central maximum bounded by first minimum on both side of slit.
 
Width of central maximum is given in terms of diffraction angle as,  θ = λ/a  
 
Hence width of central maximum directly proportional to wavelength λ and inversely proportional to slit width a
