The Bahmani kingdom was founded by Alauddin Hassan. He later assumed the title of Alauddin Bahman Shah.
The Bahmani kingdom was founded in 1347 CE.
The Bahmani kingdom extended from the Arabian Sea to the Bay of Bengal. It included the territories of the northern Deccan with River Krishna acting as its southern boundary.
