What is the Defination of super position principle?

In physics , the superposition principle, also known as superposition property, states that, for all linear systems,
the net response caused by two or more stimuli is the sum of the responses that would have been caused
by each stimulus individually.
example:- if we have charge distribution q1, q2, q3........qn which are located at r1, r2, r3.....rn from given point P,
then electric field at p due to this charge distribution is q1/(4πε0r12 ) + q2/(4πε0r22 ) + q3/(4πε0r32 )...................+qn/(4πε0rn2 ),
where each term of this net electric field is electric field at p due to individual charges
