Red Data Book keeps a record of all the endangered animals, plants and other species. It provides useful information on the threat status of various species. Some of the endangered species of animals included in the Red Data Book are Flying squirrel, Indian giant squirrel, Barasingha, Black buck, Himalayan musk deer, Great Indian rhinoceros, Snow leopard and tiger.
