Chlorophyll is the green pigment found in green plants which makes it possible for plants to convert carbon dioxide and water, in the presence of sunlight, into oxygen and glucose during the process of photosynthesis.
All living organisms need food to obtain essential nutrients like carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins and minerals which are necessary for their growth, maintenance of body and reproduction.
