What do you mean by amplitude, time period and frequency of a simple pendulum?

  • Amplitude: During an oscillation, the maximum displacement of the pendulum from its mean position is called its amplitude.
  • Time period: Time taken by a pendulum to complete one oscillation is called its time period.
  • Frequency: The number of oscillations made by a pendulum in one second is called its frequency.
