Two adjacent angles of a parallelogram are (2x+10°) and (3x-40°),find the measures of all the angles of the parallelogram.
Solution:
Adjacent angle of a Parallelogram are Supplementary.
(2x + 10)° + (3x - 40)° = 180°
→ 2x + 3x - 30 = 180
→ 5x = 210
→ x = 42
2x + 10 = 2(42) + 10 = 94 and 3x - 40 = 3(42) - 40 = 86
Therefore the angles of a Parallelogram are 94°, 86°, 94°, 86°.
