The digit of a two digit number are in the ratio of 2 ratio 3 and the number obtained by interchanging the digits is greater than the original number by 27 what is the original number

Expert Answer
Let the tenth digit be 2x and unit digit be 3x
Then the number is, (2x)10+3x = 23x
by interchanging the digits, changed number is : (3x)10+2x = 32x
Given : 32x - 23x = 27 or 9x = 27 or x = 3
hence the digits are 6 and 9 and the number is 69
