The compound interest accrued on an amount of 9600 at the end of 6 years is Rs.12000 what would be the total amount of compound interest for the same sum at the same rate for 12 years?

Total Amount A in Compound interest is given as  ,
 
begin mathsize 14px style A space equals space P space open parentheses 1 space plus space r over 100 close parentheses to the power of n end style 
where P is principal amount , r is annual rate of interest  and n is number of years
 
Interest I accured in n years is given as
 
begin mathsize 14px style I space equals space A space minus space P space equals space P open parentheses 1 plus r over 100 close parentheses to the power of n space minus space P end style 
Hence if principal amount P = Rs. 9600 and Interest I = Rs. 12000 , Then we have
 
begin mathsize 14px style 9600 space open parentheses 1 plus r over 100 close parentheses to the power of 6 space minus space 9600 space equals space 12000 end style
Hence we get
begin mathsize 14px style open parentheses 1 plus r over 100 close parentheses space equals space open parentheses 21600 over 9600 close parentheses to the power of bevelled 1 over 6 end exponent space space equals space 1.1447 end style
 
Hence Interest accured in 12 years
