Two administrative functions of the Supreme Court:

1. It appoints various officers and the staff of the Supreme Court. These appointments are made by the Chief Justice of India or any other judge as directed by him.
2. The Court makes rules regarding the conduct of advocates and other persons appearing before it. It also makes rules about the fees which need to be charged in respect to proceedings in the Court.
