The objectives of World Trade Organisation (WTO) are
- To reduce tariffs and other trade barriers imposed by different countries
- To encourage activities which improve the standard of living, create employment, increase income, effective demand and provide higher production and trade
- Provide the optimum use of world’s resources
- Promote an integrated, more profitable and durable trading system
