The consequences or effects of non-registration of a partnership firm are

  1. An unregistered firm partner cannot file a case against a partner for his/her misdeeds such as deceit or theft
  2. A partner cannot file a case in the court against any other partner for the protection of his/her interest
  3. An unregistered firm cannot file a case against a third party for legal protection However, the third party can file a case against the unregistered firm for redressal of their grievances
  4. A partner cannot file a case against the unregistered firm to redress his or her grievances, if any
